Inclusive wellbeing for
Every Body. Every Brain. Real life.
What is Tweaks
Tweaks shares evidence-based health, wellbeing and lifestyle information for every body, every brain and real life.
It is an inclusive and growing space for people who do not always feel at home in mainstream wellbeing advice.
Grounded in the universal pillars of lifestyle medicine, informed by behaviour change science and shaped by UK public health thinking, Tweaks turns trusted health and wellbeing information into tiny, realistic, no-fail experiments that people can actually try in everyday life.
It is a simple place to start for wellbeing beginners, and for people who may have felt left out of traditional health and wellbeing spaces.
Tweaks draws on long experience supporting NHS patients with chronic illness and wider health challenges, alongside professional and personal experience of neurodivergent communities. The aim is to make better health and wellbeing feel more engaging, more accessible and less overwhelming, whatever someone’s starting point.
Tweaks also creates digital resources for people who want to go a little further, while keeping free wellbeing ideas and encouragement easy to access online.
The Tweaks Story
Tweaks began after seeing how traditional health and wellbeing advice can leave people behind when it doesn't reflect real life.
Real life, where money can be tight, energy can be low, stress can wreck sleep, and healthy routines do not always fit around pain, chronic illness, neurodivergence, caring responsibilities or long waits for healthcare support.
Tweaks was created to help bridge the gap between ideal advice and everyday reality. When health advice feels too overwhelming, expensive or unrealistic, people often end up feeling stuck before they have even started.
We believe better health and wellbeing should feel possible for more people, not just those with time, money, confidence, easy access to services, or lives that run smoothly. We understand that individual and population wellbeing is shaped by more than personal choice. The world around us matters too, from stress and inequality to the environments and systems people are trying to live within.
That is why Tweaks turns trusted health and wellbeing ideas into small, fun, realistic experiments that feel more doable in everyday life, for everyone.
We share simple daily tweaks on social media, along with themed tweak sets and easy-to-scroll digital resources for people who want a little more support.
And yes, there is also Rosie, our support cat, who pops up from time to time.
The Tweaks Foundations
Tweaks is built around seven evidence-based wellbeing foundations and shaped by one simple question:
What matters to you right now?
The foundations are:
• Eat Well – finding, cooking and eating food that nourishes us
• Move More – adding more movement into daily life in realistic ways
• Ease Off – cutting back on things that can harm health
• Mind Kind – supporting mental wellbeing and lowering stress
• Build Connection – strengthening relationships and reducing isolation
• Sleep Soundly – building calmer, more supportive sleep habits
• Find Joy – making space for fun, pleasure and little glimmers
