Welcome to Tweaks House

Welcome to the Tweaks House (aka our website). Before you take your first step inside, take a breath. You've just arrived somewhere a little bit different. A house built with care - for real people, real lives, and real health and wellbeing.

The house is yours. You can enter through the Kitchen, find some quiet space in the Library, take a walk in the Garden, switch off in the Spa Retreat, find some mental space in the Snug, build connection in the Lounge, and sleep soundly in the bedroom. This and more - rooms are still being added so keep coming back. Keep a look out for the house emotional support cat, Rosie!

About Tweaks

At Tweaks Health and Wellbeing, we believe that real, lasting change doesn’t come from giant leaps - it comes from small, sustainable steps made with care.

Our philosophy is simple: by making tiny, meaningful "tweaks" across key areas of your lifestyle, you can build better health, boost your resilience, and live with more energy and ease.

Tweaks works with seven pillars of wellbeing:

Eat Well | Move More | Ease Off | Nurture Your Mind | Build Connection | Have Fun | Sleep Soundly

Each pillar is grounded in up-to-date health science and a gentle, inclusive approach to personal change.

There’s no pressure for perfection — just encouragement to start where you are, make small shifts, and feel the difference over time.

When you are ready, explore the rooms of Tweaks House to find out more about each one.

About the founder

Hi, I’m Rebecca Hyder, founder of Tweaks Health and Wellbeing.

I created Tweaks after many years supporting people living with chronic mental and physical health conditions  and seeing how overwhelming and excluding traditional "lifestyle advice" can feel.
So often, people are told to make big changes, feel overwhelmed and do nothing, when what really helps is starting small, feeling encouraged, and building confidence with each step.

I’m passionate about making wellbeing realistic, accessible, and kind.
Tweaks reflects a trauma-informed, flexible approach to health and wellbeing - because real life isn’t perfect, and neither are we.

I have over 14 years of professional experience supporting patient wellbeing within the NHS-linked charity sector. I am a qualified Person-Centred Counsellor and Psychotherapist with a B.A. (hons) in  Psychology, Sociology and Social Anthropology,

Through Tweaks, I aim to share simple, supportive tools and resources that help real people. Whether you're living with a chronic health condition, navigating life's stresses, or simply wanting to feel better in your own skin, Tweaks Health and Wellbeing is here to support you.

I'm so happy you are here.

Rebecca xx
